CZy – YADKIN FORMATION – Metamorphosed graywacke, volcanic sandstone, and siltstone; interbedded with mafic and intermediate metavolcanic flows and tuffs.
CZmd – METAMUDSTONE AND META-ARGILLITE – Thin to thick bedded; bedding plane and axial-planar cleavage common; interbedded with metasandstone, metaconglomerate, and metavolcanic rock.
